Immaginate di vedere stranieri disgraziati… Concorso di scrittura per il teatro (V edizione, 2018/19)

Prendendo spunto dalla battuta di Tommaso Moro nell’eponimo testo, v’invitiamo a scrivere un breve testo teatrale, in qualunque lingua, purché fornito di traduzione in italiano o in inglese, che non superi i 10 minuti e preveda non più di 3 personaggi.
Il testo dovrà portarci a riflettere sulla nostra contemporaneità, e in particolar modo sui temi dell’immigrazione, dell’accoglienza, della povertà, dell’ordine e della legalità, ma anche delle paure di chi migra e chi accoglie, delle loro speranze e utopie.

I tre finalisti saranno premiati e il testo vincitore sarà messo in scena da Puntozero Teatro (per la regia di Giuseppe Scutellà) con i ragazzi dell’Istituto Penitenziale Minorile Beccaria e gli studenti UNIMI in una serata aperta alla cittadinanza presso il teatro Beccaria Puntozero.

Starting from the lines spoken by Sir Thomas More in the eponymous play, we invite you to write a brief play, in any language, provided you attach a translation in Italian or English. Your playtext, with no more than three characters, should run for about ten minutes. The work should invite spectators to reflect on contemporary society, and specifically on themes of migration, poverty, order and legality, on the fears of migrants and the people in host countries, as well as their hopes and aspirations.
